Fifth week blues? Valentine’s day blues? Want to be outstanding at the TSAF Jazz Evening on Saturday? We’re delighted to have Oxford Lindy Hoppers to bring us two jazzy workshops on Lindy Hop and Charleston respectively.

First, what is Lindy Hop? The Lindy hop is an American dance which was born in Harlem, New York City in 1928 and has evolved since then with the jazz music of that time. It is frequently described as a jazz dance and is a member of the swing dance family.

The Oxford Lindy Hoppers were born in Summer 2008 on a punt on the River Cherwell. Since then they've grown in numbers, stature and footwork speed and now run regular Lindy Hop and Blues dance events and lessons in and around Oxford.

The workshops will run as follows:
7pm-8pm Lindy Hop
8pm-9pm Charleston

This event is for Oxford students only. You can reserve your free tickets here:
